What’s up, my dungeon-diving brothers and sisters?!
Still plunging headfirst into those dungeons? Cleared Floor 700 – 800?
I recently managed to break through Floor 900 in Ram’s Spring and Dungeon, so I thought I’d write down my party setup and character progression at the time.
Hopefully, this will help anyone trying to plan out their own progression!
My Party and Progress When I Cleared Floor 900
My party formation, from front to back, was:
Seline, Shuza, Fie, Mea, Natsuna, and Konika.

Seline had her level cap unlocked once, while Mea had hers unlocked twice and had also undergone one reincarnation.
The boss on Floor 900 is ridiculously tanky, so you really need to prioritize strengthening your main damage dealer above everything else.
For Limit Breaks, Mea was at +11, Seline was at +10, and the other party members were somewhere around +3 to +6.
Seline and most of the others had their skills at around Level 12 or 13. Mea, however, got the full VIP treatment: I threw caution—and a whole lot of gems—to the wind and maxed out both of her skills.
Here is what Mea’s Potential Unlock setup looked like.

Once again, I poured nearly all my resources into Mea and turned her into the one absurdly overpowered centerpiece of the party.
As a result, Seline’s option slots were unlocked with a completely random mess of bonuses, while Shuza, Natsuna, and Konika had not received any Potential Unlock upgrades whatsoever.
Artifacts and Equipment Used to Clear Floor 900
When it comes to artifacts, the B- and C-rank artifacts are surprisingly important for your actual combat strength.
In fact, among the A-rank and higher artifacts I owned, the only ones that directly contributed to combat were:
- True Spear Gungnir — Reduces boss monsters’ Attack
- Demonic Sword Gram — Reduces monsters’ Attack
- Sleipnir’s Shoes — Increases movement speed and attack speed
That was pretty much it.
Most of my other A- and S-rank artifacts were designed to improve farming efficiency rather than directly increase combat power.
The one major exception might be Hephaestus’s Anvil, which increases the success rate of skill upgrades. Since it reduces the number of times you need to spend gems, it is actually pretty important.
Without Hephaestus’s Anvil, the success rate for upgrading high-level skills can apparently drop to around 18%.
So, unless you enjoy crying tears of blood while watching your resources vanish, you should probably try to obtain this artifact first.
You are still going to shatter an alarming number of gems either way, though.
As for equipment, I once again went all-in on Mea, my main damage dealer. I stacked as much Attack, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage as possible on her.
Her equipment was around Level 8 to 10.
For the other characters, I unlocked all three equipment slots for Seline and Shuza, since they were standing on the front line.
The rest of the party did not even have their equipment slots unlocked.
Seriously, there are nowhere near enough progression resources to go around.
Meal Levels Were Around 75
Meals are extremely important for increasing your characters’ base stats.
Feed them everything you can get your hands on!
Once a character reaches around Limit Break +10, the material requirements start getting completely out of control.
You will eventually be asked to spend 500 or even 750 Evil Dragon Scales, which are obtained as rewards from Total War.
Because of this, you also need to feed and level the characters outside your main party.
Raise them until they are close to their next level-cap unlock, and gradually improve their skills as well. You need a strong enough secondary roster to farm Evil Dragon Scales consistently.
Otherwise, you will eventually hit a wall and become unable to continue Limit Breaking your main party.
Keep that in mind!
My Food Production Setup
This is only one example, so do not treat it as the one true optimal setup.
My facilities and production plots were distributed like this:
- Workbench ×3
- Alchemy Pot ×1
- Kiln ×1
- Barrel ×1
- Cooking Station ×1
- Shumugi ×1
- Tomatto ×1
- Shuberry ×3
- Kyabere ×2
- Ferikkibi ×2
- Doobu ×2
- Styurin ×2
- Mogyuu Shed ×4
- Kokoppi Coop ×3
The Research Points produced by the Workbenches are used as an ingredient for the Perfect Parfait, the highest-level recipe available from the Alchemy Pot.
There is also a reason why I am not growing any Nininji.
First, the Alchemy Pot’s high-level recipes—Perfect Parfait, Special Cake, Jewel Gummies, and Rainbow Jelly—consume huge amounts of Ferikkibi and Mogyuu Milk.
Because of that, there is rarely enough of either ingredient left over to make the lower-level Alchemy Pot recipes that use Nininji.
You can also use Nininji to make Cheese Hamburg Steak in the Kiln.
However, Mogyuu Milk is once again one of the ingredients, and milk is such a constant bottleneck that I almost never get the chance to produce it.
Finally, Nininji Juice, which can be made using Nininji alone, has the lowest nutritional value of any dish in the game.
That makes it very difficult to improve your overall progression efficiency with it.
Basically:
I NEVER HAVE ENOUGH MILK.
Meanwhile, I somehow end up drowning in beef and chicken.
There has to be something useful I can do with all of it… right?
I feel like there probably is.
Anyway, that is roughly what my party and progression looked like when I cleared Floor 900!
Until next time, enjoy your gaming life!
And as always, thank you very much for reading all the way to the end!!!
