Inventory Expansion Overview
There are four different inventory expansion quests in Grim Dawn.
Completing one of these quests rewards you with one additional inventory bag.
However, quest progress is not shared between difficulty levels, and you can expand your inventory by a maximum of five bags.
In other words, to unlock all five inventory bags, you will need to complete a total of five inventory expansion quests across multiple difficulty levels.
The Four Inventory Expansion Quests
Quest 1: And Not a Drop to Drink
You can find a full walkthrough of this quest and the rest of Act 1 here.
Speak to Barnabas southwest of Devil’s Crossing to accept the quest.
After collecting five pieces of Scrap and giving them to him, enter the cellar through the trapdoor inside the building immediately to the right of Barnabas.
Make your way through the Devil’s Aquifer and defeat the boss waiting at the end.
Once the boss is dead, return to Barnabas and report your success to complete the quest.
Quest 2: Clearing the Way
You can find a full walkthrough of this quest and the rest of Act 2 here.
Speak to Bernard at the Rover Camp southwest of the Arkovian Foothills Rift to accept the quest.
Use Dynamite to destroy the bandit barricade blocking the road.
After blowing it up, speak to Bernard again to report your success and complete the quest.
Quest 3: Culling the Swarm
You can find a full walkthrough of this quest and the rest of Act 3 here.
First, accept and complete the prerequisite quest, Infested Fields, from Douglass in Homestead.
Speak to him again afterward to accept Culling the Swarm.
The entrance to the Royal Hive will appear somewhere in the fields northwest of the Rotting Croplands Rift, so search the area until you find it.
Inside the hive, defeat the two bosses and collect their Pheromone Glands.
Use the glands to open the entrance leading deeper into the hive, then defeat the boss waiting beyond it.
Return to Douglass and report your success to complete the quest.
Quest 4: Precious Resources

This quest can be accepted from Weapons Master Edric at Fort Ikon.
The Legion Supplies can be found inside a chest in the Fort Ikon Armory.
The main quest will take you through the armory anyway, so accepting Precious Resources beforehand will save you from having to make a second trip.
Collect the supplies from the chest and deliver them to Edric to complete the quest.
