Overview
A forest located east of the Briar Sloughs in the northern part of Vale Sangora.
Despite being called a forest, the area features plenty of rocky, mountainous terrain. The steep elevation changes also make it quite difficult to get around.
You’ll fairly often find yourself thinking:
“The destination is right in front of me, but I have to go all the way around this cliff to get there.”
At night, you can use Shadowstep to brute-force your way across some of the terrain, so if exploration is taking too long, visiting the area at night can be a surprisingly effective option.
There are some grassy areas as well, so you can find a decent amount of plants used as crafting materials.

Brencis Soldier Camp
The following loot can be obtained from the chest without consuming any Time Segments, as long as you do not interact with the shrine to restore it as part of the Destroyed Shrine quest.
- Broad Swing Manual
- Maragir Wealds Shrine’s Heart (quest item for Destroyed Shrines: Maragir Wealds)
In my case, a Restless Blade Manual also dropped here.
Military Checkpoints from Edict 2
Clearing out a military checkpoint established by Edict 2 as a result of your Infamy costs 1 Time Segment and grants rewards.
At one of these checkpoints, I found an Omniblock Manual among the rewards.
