Overview
Ocha is a young Uriashi woman who makes a living as a debt collector and tavern bouncer in Svartrau.
She was originally supposed to succeed as the leader of her clan back home, but ran away simply because she found that life “boring.”
She dreams of a life filled with adventure and excitement.
She cares deeply about Nora, who looks after her, and calls her mabudachi—a Japanese slang term roughly meaning “bestie” in the Japanese version.
She also appears to have some issues with Andrei, the man who effectively controls Svartrau from the shadows.
Her halting way of speaking may initially make her seem like an all-brawn-and-no-brains warrior, but she repeatedly proves otherwise. She has knowledge of witchcraft and even devises a plan to keep Andrei alive but under her control, using him to improve her and Nora’s lives.
Ocha is considerably sharper than she first appears.
