Overview

The Uriash are a race of towering mountain dwellers with horns and other sheep-like features.

Once hunted to the brink of extinction, they disappeared from human society.

With the collapse of human rule, they have begun to reappear in Vale Sangora.

After Brencis brought the human persecution of the Uriash to an end, some Uriash warriors swore allegiance to him and now occupy Laslea.

Their settlements are built from rock, moss, and twigs to blend seamlessly into the mountainside. Merely finding one is an adventure in itself.

Culture and Society

Spending winters in caves has made the Uriashi remarkably patient.

They have their own political system, as well as disagreements within their society.

Uriashi society is broadly conservative and strongly inclined to preserve its traditional way of life. According to the developers, this conservatism will become a point of conflict in one of the game’s storylines.

There are some really cool creatures and monsters in our game, many of them inspired by folklore and various legends, such as the uriashi, likhos, kobolds, or tatzelwurms.
