The Dawnwalker Saga is a planned series by Rebel Wolves, the developer of The Blood of Dawnwalker.
Rebel Wolves has confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will be the first game in the Dawnwalker Saga.
What Kind of Series Will It Be?
Future installments will feature adventures set in different eras, locations, and cultures.
In the official teaser above, a blood bag can be seen being delivered to the protagonist, Coen, by a courier service.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in Vale Sangora, a fictional region located in the Carpathian Mountains—a real mountain range in Central and Eastern Europe—in the 14th century. However, it appears that the Dawnwalker Saga will tell a vampire story extending all the way into the modern day.
Will The Blood of Dawnwalker End on a Cliffhanger?
According to Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Co-Founder and Game Director at Rebel Wolves, the game is being developed as a self-contained story.
He also clearly stated that each installment in the series will be a standalone game with its own story, without narrative cliffhangers, unresolved plot threads, or time travel ideas.
According to the game’s Narrative Director, Jakub Szamałek, the conflict between Coen and Brencis, the vampire lord who serves as the game’s antagonist, will reach its conclusion within The Blood of Dawnwalker:
Szamałek also noted that attentive players will be able to find clues pointing toward the larger overarching plot that will unfold throughout the series.
