After discovering the scene of a horrific massacre along a river in the northeastern outskirts of Svartrau, Coen decides to put the restless dead to rest.
How to Start & Location
While progressing through or after completing Vale Sangora’s Haunted Places, examine the corpses along the river in the northeastern outskirts of Svartrau.
Loot the Exorcist’s Account from one of the corpses and read it to start the quest.
Time Cost & Time Limit
Using Astral Communion costs 1 Time Segment.
There is no time limit.
Rewards
- 100 XP
- 1 Skill Point
- Soul Reaping Manual
- Increases the use count of Astral Communion by 1
You can also obtain random equipment, materials, and medicines.
Walkthrough
- Use Astral Communion on one of the corpses.
- Fight and defeat all of the enemies that appear.
- Open the chest.
- Complete the quest.
Note: This Increases the Astral Communion Use Count, Not Compel Soul
Since you are communicating with the dead, I initially thought:
“Does this count as a use of Compel Soul?”
However, after checking my save data, I found that the use count for Astral Communion had increased by 1 instead of Compel Soul.
Keep this in mind if you are leveling either of these abilities.
