Overview
While in Svartrau, Coen comes across Xanthe‘s Blood Guards recruiting new members.
He decides to fight them and put a stop to their scheme.
How to Start & Location
When your Infamy is at or above a certain level (unverified), entering the alley south of Vicho‘s shop in Svartrau triggers the parent activity, Xanthe’s Recruiters.
Talk to Xanthe’s soldier there to start this activity.
Time Cost & Deadline
Resolving the blood reliquary interaction costs 3 time segments.
There is no deadline.

- 100 XP
- 1 Skill Point
- Increased Infamy
- Blood Guard Recruiters in Xanthe’s Court activities
If you choose “Collect vrakhiri blood” at the final choice, you also obtain the Phial of Brencis’s Blood, which unlocks Piercing Shriek.

- Talk to Xanthe’s soldier.
- Fight the enemies.
- Deal with the blood reliquary (choice involved).
- Complete the activity.
Which Final Choice Should You Pick?
There does not appear to be any major story difference between the final choices, and the basic rewards can be obtained either way.
Choosing “Collect vrakhiri blood” gives you the Phial of Brencis’s Blood as an additional reward, which unlocks Piercing Shriek.

When the fight with Xanthe’s soldiers begins, the following activities become available:

After completing the activity, read the Stern Reminder found in a nearby container to unlock the following activities:
- Xanthe’s Blood Guards: Unquenchable Thirst
- Xanthe’s Blood Guards: Teach with Pain
- Xanthe’s Blood Guards: Loophole

The exact Infamy level required to trigger the activity has not yet been confirmed.
Alternatively, defeating Ambrus may be the trigger.
