Ambrus’s Collectors: Bounty of the Mire Overview
It seems that Ambrus has his men collect leeches in Briar Sloughs.
He needs their spittle to keep his stockpiled blood from clotting.
Coen decides to destroy the barrels of leeches being collected for Ambrus.
How to Start & Location
The quest begins after you raid a camp occupied by Ambrus’s soldiers and read his instructions.
Time Cost
Destroying the leech barrels costs 3 Time Segments.
Rewards
- 250 XP
- 1 Skill Point
- 7 Blood Leeches (a consumable that restores 200% of a Health Segment while in vampire form)
- 1 checkmark for Leech-Pickers in Ambrus’s Court
- Increased Infamy
This is an extremely rewarding quest for how little time it takes. You can earn a substantial amount of XP, a Skill Point, Court progress, and Infamy all at once.
On top of that, you can loot equipment from the soldiers you defeat and sell it for money, while the Blood Leeches provide a useful source of healing at night.

- Interact with the leech barrels.
- Complete the quest.
Fighting the Leech Collectors
Perhaps because I visited the camp at night, the leech collectors did not flee, and I ended up having to fight everyone there.
