Coen as a Human During the Day
During the day, protagonist Coen fights as a human using his sword and magic.
Coen as a Vampire at Night
At night, Coen becomes a vampire and fights using his claws and special vampiric abilities.
According to the official article linked below, Coen can acquire vampiric abilities by drinking the blood of enemy vampires and taking their powers.
The methods available for accomplishing objectives also change between day and night. For example, Coen can use his vampiric abilities to instantly reach high buildings and infiltrate enemy strongholds.
This is more than a simple “30% attack power increase at night” mechanic.
